Teacher Support

Scholastic Subscriptions

The Patton PTA offers educational subscriptions to every classroom. This helps enrich the student’s learning environment with diverse, high-quality resources, personalized learning experiences, and interactive, engaging content.

Grade Level Endowments

The PTA Classroom Endowment Program is an annual funding opportunity for educators at Patton Elementary School. Designed to put aid directly into the classrooms, the program supports the PTA mission to engage, empower, and advocate for all children. Recipients of the Classroom Endowment funding will receive financial support for a specific item or program that benefits the entire grade level, funded by Patton PTA.

Professional Development Scholarships

The Patton PTA offers teachers the opportunity to receive funding to help cover registration fees for professional development training, conferences, workshops, etc.

Supply reimbursement

The Patton PTA offers teachers the opportunity to receive a supply reimbursement to help set up their classroom.

Teacher Wishlists

We collect and disseminate teacher and staff wish lists and encourage parents to help “Clear the List!”

Room Parents

Room parents are another layer of support for our teachers often helping with classroom projects, events, and classroom parent coordination.

Hospitality

Our hospitality crew offers food, refreshments, and treats to teachers and staff throughout the year to show our appreciation for all that they do.

Student Enrichment

Arts Day

One of our most anticipated events each year, arts day brings visual, musical and performance artists to Patton for a full day of culture and art. Past years have brought musicians, puppeteers, dancers, and more.

Track and Field Day

Our Track and Field Days are broken up by grade level over the course of 2 days: PreK – 2nd and 3rd – 5th. The younger grades participate in group activities with their classes and demonstrate skills learned in PE throughout the year. Grades 2 and up compete with their class against other classes in events such as relays, three-legged races, tug of war and more. The PE department typically sells fun accessories like colorful beads, sunglasses and color blast powder as a fundraiser for their department and students love to collect these items. Parents are invited to watch Track and Field Day and the students enjoy having parents there to cheer them on! In the older grades, parents also have the opportunity to volunteer as a line judge and have a front row view of the events!

School Support

Workroom

Workroom volunteers help teachers and staff prepare their lessons by making copies, stapling, cutting, laminating, and more.

Cafeteria

Daily volunteers work in the cafeteria to help students use good cafeteria behavior and assist when students need napkins, utensils, or help opening food items.

Library

Volunteers assist daily in the library as well as at our fall and winter book fairs.

Landscaping

Through landscaping projects and clean-up days the PTA supports campus beautification at Patton.

Yearbook

Did you know our wonderful Patton yearbook is created entirely by the PTA?! These wonderful books let students memorialize their yearly experience at Patton.
