Wondering what kinds of things your donation would help to pay for? Today we shine a spotlight on Patton PTA Alumni Scholarships! 

It has been a long-standing practice of Patton PTA to award financial scholarships to graduating high school seniors who attended Patton. Interested students submit an application and essay, which are then read anonymously by a committee of PTA volunteers. Applications are scored taking into consideration financial need, academics, extra curricular activities and strength of essay. 🍎📝

Providing financial assistance to our alumni as they take the next steps in their academic journey is a meaningful way for our community to show we care about our students’ success beyond their time at Patton. This is an important part of our PTA mission- to advocate for all students!

For many years our PTA awarded four scholarships, however, during Covid when our fundraising numbers were down we had to scale back this program to award just one $500 scholarship. We were thrilled to be able to ramp this program back up to award four $500 scholarships in 2023! We want this important tradition to continue for years to come so that these same opportunities are available to current Patton students when the time comes.
