Wondering what kinds of things your donation would help to pay for? Today we shine a spotlight on Patton PTA Community Events! 🔦

One of the greatest challenges of pandemic life was being cut off from community. As life has slowly returned to normal, re-building community and creating new connections have been priorities of our PTA. We strive to host events where all members of the Patton community feel welcomed, valued and celebrated. Our events serve a variety of purposes: cultural celebrations, educational opportunities, social connections, arts programming, community partnerships and more!

But there’s another layer to community events. Activities and events that engage parents help build relationships between schools, families, and communities. When families feel connected to their child’s school, they are more likely to be involved in their child’s education. Countless studies show the connection between parental involvement and student success. Community events are more than just fun parties- they create environments where students are more likely to succeed! 💯

It is our hope to always be able to offer these events free of charge so that cost never prohibits anyone from attending and feeling a part of our community. If you’re in a position to make a financial donation we hope you will do so, so that we can continue to offer free events that are open to all!

Speaking of community events… we hope you will join us this Saturday at The Far Our Lounge for our last event of the school year, Patton Campus Limits Music Festival! This will be the perfect time to celebrate all we’ve accomplished together this school year! 🎶🎹🎤
