Patton Pre-K 3 Program is here! Austin ISD will provide a half-day pre-K program for three-year-olds at Patton Elementary in the 2018-19 school year. The program will offer children hands-on, purposeful opportunities for learning.
To be eligible for the 3PK program, a child must be three years of age on or before September 1st of the school year, live in the district, and must:
- be unable to speak and/or comprehend the English language; or
- be educationally disadvantaged (qualify for free/reduced lunch); or
be homeless, as defined by 42 U.S.C. Section 11302; or - be the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States; or
- be the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States who was injured or killed while serving on active duty; or
- currently or has ever been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services following an adversary hearing under Family Code 262.201.
- child of a parent who has is a first responder that has received the Star of Texas Award.
Registration will begin April 4. When registering your child, please bring the following information:
- official birth certificate
- up-to-date immunization record
- current proof of income
- current proof of residence
- parent/guardian picture ID
